Registration Information

Classes meet each week, unless mentioned in this calendar.

The dance center does not follow the Calvert County Public School System for closings unless due to inclement weather.
Registration Fees
A non-refundable fee of $40.00 per student is required yearly at the time of registration. Registration fee will be automatically posted and processed onto your account once registered. 
Payment of Fees

There are two options for paying tuition. Payments are to be paid in five installments or monthly.  Tuition payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. Payments are accepted by cash or credit card. Be sure to select your desired e-payment schedule in your portal.  There is an option for automatic processing for tuition. See director for private work/solo fees.

Tuition is based on a 10 month program, (September through June). Tuition payments are due regardless of class attendance or holiday schedules. Invoices are not sent to individuals in the mail. Accounts must be current prior to the start of the first class of each payment due date in order for a student to participate in a class.
Installment Payment Schedule

~ First Tuition Payment is due at the time of registration and consists of the last two months of the regular dance season > (May/June tuition), along with the registration fee(s).

~ Second Payment Is Due September 1   ~ Third Payment Is Due November 1   ~ Fourth Payment Is Due January 1   ~ Final Payment Is Due March 1

Monthly Payments
For those wishing to pay monthly - May/June tuition are required with the registration fee(s) at the time of registration. Tuition is due the first day of each month. 
Late Fees

Tuition received after the due date will result in a late fee of $20.00 for every month payment is delinquent. Late fees are not waived . Late fees accrue every month account is delinquent. Failure to pay tuition after the 10th day of the due date may result in the student not permitted to participate in class until full payment is received. There are no exceptions.


Emails and/or phone calls will not be accepted as a means to withdraw from SDC.


Production Fee
A Production Fee of $95.00 per student is due October 15th. This is a separate fee from costume deposits due November 1st and costume balances due in February.
Refunds
All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Credits

There are no credits issued.

Drop Ins
SDC offers a single class fee to visiting students. Payment and paperwork must be completed at the office before the student enters the classroom. Fees are only rolled over towards registration — if the visiting student registers the same day of the trial class.
If not registering the same day of trial class, fee will not be credited towards future registration. Single Class fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Returning Sherry's Dance Center students visiting from college — ask for discount rates.
Private Classes

All private classes must be approved by the director. Space is limited. (See director for details). Fees are due monthly or by the installment plan. Fees are due regardless of class attendance or holiday schedules. Late fee policy applies. Private class may be terminated, if payment becomes delinquent or not paid according to payment schedule.

Withdrawal from a Class or Dance Center

Withdrawals are only accepted in person and will not be accepted over the phone or via email.


* Withdrawals must be done in person during our regular office hours to confirm tuition payment obligation discontinues. All outstanding balances on account must be paid at this time. Withdrawals are not accepted over the phone or via email.

Tuition payment is required on each payment due date until a Sherry's Dance Center withdrawal form is completed in person. Late fees will continue to accrue each month until the withdrawal process is completed.


The SDC Withdrawal form must be filled out/completed by the parent/adult student and any and all balances must be paid in full at the time of the withdrawal.
